Here at Wharfe Bridge Day Nursery we are looking to recruit a full time or part time motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our small and friendly team. Various hours are available.
Come and join our small family run nursery which provides a home from home environment to local families. We have a small but spacious nursery with lovely outdoor spaces. We currently have a lovely small team of 6 staff.

We are passionate about supporting our team to develop their skills and will happily support any training or professional development that may be of interest to the successful candidate.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with a relevant qualifications and experience of working with children from 0-5 years. However, candidate who are new to the sector are encouraged to apply as full training can be given
Essential Skills/qualifications
- Be able to work as part of a team and being supportive as a team player
- Have excellent written and verbal English
- To have a strong desire to work with young children
Desirable skills/qualifications
- Level 2 or 3 Childcare / Early Years Qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience in an early years setting. (preferred but not essential)
- First aid training
- Food hygiene
- Safeguarding training
The nursery offers a salary is £14.75 per hour. The position offers 28 days (pro rata) paid holiday and enrolment into a pension.
The company takes safeguarding seriously and all offers of employment will be subject to a DBS check and references covering a 5 year period.
