Diverse Trainers is a leading UK training provider specialising in health and fitness qualifications. We provide online and face-to-face courses nationwide, helping people gain the qualifications they need to start or progress their careers in the fitness industry.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for competitive, enthusiastic and results-driven Telesales Executives to join our team.
This is a fast-paced B2C sales role focused on converting inbound enquiries, following up warm leads and helping prospective students choose the right qualification for their career goals.
The Role
You will speak with people who have expressed an interest in starting or developing a career in the health and fitness industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Converting inbound enquiries and warm leads into sales
- Speaking with prospective students by telephone, email and other communication channels
- Understanding each customer’s career goals and recommending the right course or qualification
- Following up leads and outstanding enquiries
- Handling objections and confidently closing sales
- Upselling relevant course packages and additional qualifications
- Generating referrals and repeat business
- Selling additional courses to existing learners and graduates
- Managing your own sales pipeline and follow-up activity
- Working towards and exceeding individual sales targets and KPIs
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for people who genuinely enjoy sales and are motivated by achieving results.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in telesales, B2C sales or a similar target-driven role
- Have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Be confident, engaging and persuasive on the telephone
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to adapt their approach to different customers
- Understand the sales process and know how to progress opportunities towards a close
- Be comfortable handling objections and asking for the sale
- Be highly self-motivated, competitive and results-driven
- Be resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-focused environment
- Be organised and able to manage multiple leads and follow-ups
- Be a quick learner with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Experience in the health and fitness industry is not essential, as full product training will be provided.
Working Hours
The role operates on a rota and includes:
- Two 12:00pm–8:00pm shifts per week
- Two 9:00am–5:00pm shifts per week
- Working every other weekend from 10:00am–4:00pm
- A weekday off when working the weekend
Salary and Commission
- Basic salary of £28,000–£35,000, depending on experience
- Performance-related commission and incentives
- On-target earnings of up to £50,000+ per year
