Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a key role in preparing the venue for launch, supporting the recruitment and development of the team, and ensuring the business delivers an outstanding customer experience from opening day onwards. You'll be confident taking responsibility for the venue in the General Manager's absence and passionate about helping drive the business forward.

- Serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation and responsible service.
- Supervise, motivate and support the team, creating a positive and energetic working environment.
- Manage and coordinate food orders, ensuring accurate and timely communication between the kitchen and front of house.
- Take responsibility for the venue in the absence of the General Manager.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling and operational compliance.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Assist with staff rotas, attendance and ensuring appropriate staffing levels during busy trading periods.
- Monitor stock levels, support ordering and maintain high presentation standards throughout the venue.
- Assist with stock control, reporting and other administrative duties.
- Help deliver sports events, promotions and customer engagement initiatives to maximise trade and customer experience.
Skills
- Previous supervisory or management experience within hospitality, pubs, bars or similar environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Experience working confidently in busy bar operations.
- Good understanding of food service and coordinating front and back-of-house operations.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- A hands-on approach with the confidence to take initiative and solve problems.
- Flexible, reliable and willing to work evenings, weekends and key trading periods.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional looking to develop their management career while helping launch an exciting new venue. If you're passionate about hospitality, sport, great food and creating memorable customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
