Food Production & Kitchen Lead

At Noa’s Café, we believe great food starts behind the scenes. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys preparing fresh food, takes pride in keeping an organised kitchen, and can confidently lead our back-of-house operation.
This isn’t a chef role. It’s perfect for someone who thrives on prep, organisation, quality, and keeping a busy kitchen running like clockwork.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading our daily back-of-house food production.
- Preparing sandwiches, baguettes, wraps, salads and hot food to our recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensuring consistency, speed and exceptional quality across every product.
- Managing stock, deliveries and ingredient rotation (FIFO).
- Maintaining outstanding food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Completing food safety records and temperature checks.
- Supporting with ordering and reducing food waste.
- Training and supporting other kitchen team members.
- Working closely with management to improve systems, efficiency and new menu ideas.
We’re looking for someone who
- Has experience in food preparation or a commercial kitchen.
- Is naturally organised and works well under pressure.
- Takes ownership and enjoys leading by example.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Understands food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Can work independently without constant supervision.
- Is reliable, punctual and proud of producing high-quality food every day.
- Brings a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a growing business.
Bonus points if you have
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Experience in cafés, delis or grab-and-go food production.
- Experience managing stock and ordering.
- Ideas and passion for creating exciting fresh food.
