You will be making a difference to the lives of older people who might be living with dementia or who need nursing support. You will need to use your clinical judgement to help customers improve, maintain or recover their health and wellbeing.
As Village Nurse Manager you will provide leadership to the nursing team in the delivery of high quality, evidence based, person-centred care.

Be actively involved in developing and trialling innovative concepts, models, methods and practices which provide new and improved care services to meet the changing needs of the Belong community

Be a visible, positive and proactive role model for excellent person centred support and practice development for the nursing team

Provide clinical leadership, guidance and oversight to colleagues

Ensure high standards of nursing care, clinical practice and documentation

Support care planning, clinical assessments, risk management and reviews

Oversee medication management, clinical audits and action plans

Support safe admissions, transitions and ongoing resident care

Work closely with GPs, community teams, hospitals, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals

Promote best practice in infection prevention and control, wound care, nutrition, hydration, falls prevention and end-of-life care

Provide supervision, coaching and support to nurses and care colleagues

Help identify training needs and support clinical development across the team

Contribute to safeguarding, incident reviews, investigations and quality improvement

Support the Registered Support Manager and General Manager with regulatory compliance
Requirements
-
You will be an RGN/RMN with an active NMC pin and significant nursing experience in a clinical or care environment supporting older people
-
Have a high standard of practice and experience leading nursing teams in residential or dementia care environments to deliver high quality care across the whole village

Experience with clinical governance, including audits, risk management, and safeguarding
-
Be a visible, positive and proactive role model with experience supporting colleague development within a nursing or care team

Eligible to work in the UK

Experience coordinating with external clinical stakeholders such as GPs, community teams, hospitals, and pharmacists is a plus
