Orthodontic Dental Nurse / Receptionist
Splash Orthodontics – Hove
We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Orthodontic Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team at Splash Orthodontics in Hove.
This is a varied role combining both clinical nursing and front-of-house reception duties. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and providing an exceptional patient experience.
Applicants must be a qualified Dental Nurse and hold current GDC registration.
Previous orthodontic experience is preferred, along with familiarity with Orthotrac software. However, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Clinical Duties
- Assisting the Orthodontist and Orthodontic Therapist during clinical procedures
- Providing patients with clear instructions regarding their treatment
- Taking intra-oral and extra-oral photographs and digital scans (training provided if required)
- Maintaining high standards of infection control and instrument sterilisation
- Preparing and organising surgeries and equipment
Reception Duties
- Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional environment
- Checking patients in and out using our practice management software
- Booking appointments and managing clinician diaries
- Processing payments and treatment plans
- Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries
- Processing referrals and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 4–5 days per week
- Possibility of one Saturday per month, shared between all team members
- Overtime available when required
