Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Multi Drop Van Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely arrivals and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role requires a proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Deliver goods to various locations promptly while maintaining the integrity of the products - up to 30 drops per day.
- Working hours 07:00 - 16:00.
- Assist with loading and unloading items, often involving heavy lifting to ensure proper handling.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or delays.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Follow company policies on health and safety.
- Assist in warehouse tasks when not on delivery routes.
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience, ideally within a commercial or logistics environment.
- Valid UK driver licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with driving regulations and safety procedures related to commercial driving.
