Nuco Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter cover South Derbyshire. The role will include carrying out day-to-day carpentry repairs and maintenance in occupied and void social housing properties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while providing excellent customer service to tenants.
Role and Responsibilities
- Carry out responsive carpentry repairs and maintenance in occupied and void social housing properties.
- Repair, install, and replace doors, frames, locks, kitchens, skirting, flooring, windows, fencing, and other timber fixtures.
- Diagnose faults and deliver high-quality first-time fixes.
- Complete work safely, efficiently, and in line with company and health & safety standards.
- Manage your workload independently and maintain your company van, tools, and equipment.
- Identify and report additional repairs, health & safety issues, or safeguarding concerns.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent City & Guilds/Apprenticeship).
- Experience in responsive maintenance or social housing repairs.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Clean DBS
- Asbestos Awareness certificate
