Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Bake bread, pastries, or other baked goods following established recipes and techniques
- Assist in food production processes, maintaining efficient workflow during busy periods
- Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Support the kitchen team in food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and plating
- Maintain organized workstations and stock levels to facilitate smooth operations
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting innovative ideas and new flavor combinations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, food preparation or culinary roles within a restaurant or bakery setting
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, baking methods, and kitchen safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Prior experience in restaurant or culinary environments is highly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced setting
