About the role:
Sublime is a specialist retail display and bespoke manufacturing company, designing and producing high-quality retail interiors, displays, furniture and signage for clients across the UK.
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our design team and create visual content and artwork for both Sublime and our retail display projects.
The role will suit a creative and technically minded designer who understands how graphics, typography, colour and imagery are applied within physical retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create artwork for retail displays, signage, point-of-sale and promotional materials.
- Produce graphics for brochures, presentations, websites and social media.
- Develop visual concepts and artwork from client and project briefs.
- Prepare accurate artwork for print, manufacture and installation.
- Work with the design, sales and production teams to deliver projects.
- Adapt artwork to suit different materials, sizes and applications.
- Maintain consistency with client and Sublime brand guidelines.
- Edit and prepare images for digital and print use.
- Manage multiple projects and meet agreed deadlines.
- Check artwork carefully for accuracy before production.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in graphic design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating professional design work.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour and composition.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret a brief and work independently.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Experience preparing artwork for professional print production.
Desirable:
- Experience in retail, signage, point-of-sale, exhibition or interior design.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAD or other CAD/3D software.
- Understanding of materials, print processes and physical manufacturing.
- Experience creating artwork for large-format print or bespoke displays.
