No COS sponsorship available -We are seeking a Senior Support worker with potential progression towards Assistant manager / deputy manager with the relevant training which will be provided to help staff to move up the ladder within the company.
This is a small, 3 person supported living service where we support people with mild learning disabilities, complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours with their daily activities and support them to maintain their independence.
As a Senior Support Worker you will;
- Accompany the people we support to activities, appointments etc.
- Assist with day to day living tasks such as cooking and cleaning
- Ensure the people we support are encouraged to reach their full potential
- Support with everyday tasks to maximise the individual’s independence
- Take on shift leading responsibilities by coordinating and leading shifts in the absence of a manager
- Support people to have meaningful, full lives
- Ensure all plans and records relating to the people you support are accurate and up to date
- Work full or part time covering different shifts throughout the day, evenings and nights spread across the week, weekends and Bank holidays. Shifts are on a rota basis so you will know in advance to plan your time accordingly.
