Glasgow Cambuslang Investment Park - HGV Class 1
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for ad - hoc temporary roles in our depot in Cambuslang - Glasgow. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 - 15 drops per day, with Tail lift and cages. Immediate starts for successful candidates.
Shifts pattern available
Day pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
- Saturday £19.46
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95
Nights pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
- Saturday £21.92
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
Day to day duties will include the following:
- Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
- Prepping vehicles for delivery.
- Completing vehicles checks.
- Refueling vehicles.
- Multi drop deliveries.
- Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
- Manual Handling trolleys
- The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
- At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
- Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
- Immediate start for successful candidates
