About the Role:
We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant at an Outstanding rated primary school in Morden (SM4). In this role, you will provide 1:1 support to a child with Autism and complex needs. Personal care is required, and you will work closely with the child to ensure they thrive in an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a child with Autism and complex needs
- Assist with personal care tasks
- Support the child's social, emotional, and academic development
- Work closely with the classroom teacher and other staff to ensure the child's needs are met
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience supporting children with Autism and complex needs is highly desirable
- Ability to assist with personal care tasks
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with children
- Enhanced DBS check, right to work documentation, and at least 2 references required
