Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fabricator/Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in welding, fabrication, and assembly and repair processes, with a focus on delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Perform precise TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal and structural components.
- Fabricate parts and assemblies according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Assist in the installation, fitting, and alignment of fabricated components on-site or within the workshop.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines whilst ensuring quality standards are upheld.
Skills
- Proven experience in TIG/MIG/MMA welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Solid knowledge assembly processes, and mechanical principles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Good understanding of basic maths for measurements, angles, and material calculations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality assurance.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Pay: £16.00-£21.00 per hour
