Large Format Printer

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Large Format Printer to join a well-established print business in East London.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on and working across a varied mix of large format work, including signage, POS, exhibition graphics, retail displays, wall graphics and vinyl applications.
The Role
You’ll be working within a busy production department, taking jobs through the large format process and ensuring everything is produced accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.
Day to day will include:
- Setting up and operating large format digital printing equipment
- Preparing and RIPing files ready for production
- Printing across a range of roll-fed and rigid materials
- Producing vinyl graphics, signage, POS, wall graphics, exhibition and display work
- Loading and changing media
- Monitoring colour and overall print quality throughout production
- Carrying out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Working closely with the finishing team to keep jobs moving
- Supporting with large format finishing where required
- Ensuring jobs are completed accurately and within deadlines
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you’ll already have experience within a large format digital print environment and be comfortable operating machinery independently.
Experience with any of the following would be particularly useful:
- HP Latex or similar large format printing equipment
- RIP software and colour management
- Printing onto vinyl, roll-fed and rigid substrates
- Large format finishing including laminating, mounting and trimming
- Zünd, Kongsberg or Summa cutting equipment
You don't need experience on every piece of equipment. If you've got a solid large format background, a good attitude and are comfortable learning new machinery, we'd still be keen to hear from you.
