Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Childcare Trainer to deliver specialised training programmes aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of childcare staff within our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and implementing training modules, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a supportive learning environment. Duties
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging training sessions using platforms such as Adobe Captivate and SharePoint.
- Facilitate onboarding programmes for new staff, ensuring they are equipped with essential skills and knowledge.
- Utilise HRIS systems like Workday and Salesforce to track training progress and maintain accurate records.
- Mentor and support childcare staff through coaching sessions, fostering continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with human resources to identify training needs and tailor programmes accordingly.
- Prepare presentation materials and utilise effective communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements as necessary.
- Stay informed about industry standards, legislative requirements, and organisational policies related to residential childcare.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching or training within a childcare or social care environment.
- Proficiency in using e-learning tools such as Adobe Captivate and SharePoint.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently.
- Experience working with HR systems such as Workday, HRIS platforms, or Salesforce is desirable.
- Demonstrated mentoring abilities with a focus on supporting staff development.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple training programmes simultaneously.
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to training, compliance, and staff development is advantageous.

Pay: £31,000.00-£33,500.00 per year
