Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cook. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent food safety standards and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have an interest in Kitchen work, with experience in food preparation and kitchen operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to a welcoming dining experience. There is also a possibility of split working with some shifts on bar as well if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Assist with meal presentation, garnishing, and portion control to maintain quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately
- Support team members during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of meals
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to create a safe working environment for staff and customers
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Occasional Bar shifts/helping out with the FOH staff
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Experience with meal preparation, including handling ingredients
- Familiarity with restaurant service procedures is advantageous but not essential
- Prior experience in serving customers or working front-of-house roles will be considered an asset

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
