We are looking for an experienced Timber Yard (or Builders Merchant Yard) Foreman. The role will involve allocating work to yard colleagues, checking loads on outbound vehicles are correct in quantity, quality , marking and packaging, ensuring that all health, safety and environmental rules are adhered to as well as company policies and procedures.
In addition you will be responsible for the discipline of yard colleagues, achieve any objectives agreed between yourself and senior management and hold annual performance reviews with yard colleagues, as well as any other duties assigned by senior management. Sideloader experience an advantage.
39 hours per week Monday to Friday 0800-1630 M - Th, 0800-1530 Fri, 30 minute daily break. Overtime paid at time & a half.
