Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Peripatetic Support Manager to provide operational leadership and quality improvement support across our services.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Care Home Manager or Senior Operations Manager looking for a varied role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with our Director of Operations, supporting services that require additional leadership, covering management absences, preparing for inspections, and driving continuous quality improvements across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible leadership and operational support across multiple services.
- Support Home Managers to deliver safe, effective and high-quality care.
- Lead services through periods of operational challenge or management absence.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support inspection readiness and regulatory responses.
- Monitor quality, governance and risk management.
- Drive service improvement initiatives and share best practice.
- Build positive relationships with staff, residents, relatives and external professionals.
- Work flexibly across services according to business needs.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience managing a residential care home, hospitals or healthcare service.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting service improvement and operational performance.
- The ability to work independently across multiple locations.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Information:
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
- This role involves regular travel between St Matthews Healthcare services.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
