Foston Salary: £35,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm (40 hours per week)
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Full Load Planner to join our busy Transport team based in Foston. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced transport professional who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys coordinating operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of services.
Due to the location of our site, applicants must have access to their own vehicle.
As a Full Planner, you will play a key role in the day-to-day planning and coordination of transport operations. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicle and driver resources are utilised effectively while maintaining excellent customer service levels and compliance with transport regulations.
Working closely with drivers, customers, and the wider operations team, you will help ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Plan and schedule daily transport operations to maximise fleet utilisation and efficiency.

Monitor vehicle movements and proactively manage any operational disruptions.

Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal departments to ensure service requirements are met.

Ensure compliance with transport legislation, company policies, and health and safety requirements.

Maintain accurate transport records and planning documentation.

Analyse routes and workloads to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost savings.

Support operational performance through effective communication and problem-solving.

- Previous experience within a transport planning, logistics, or fleet planning role.
