Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout the shift
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or supplies needed
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
- Assist with meal plating and presentation to enhance visual appeal
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods, ensuring smooth operation
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques specific to breakfast dishes and meal preparation
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food safety standards, including HACCP protocols
- Previous experience serving guests or working in customer-facing roles is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
