We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Events Ushers to join our team for various events. The successful candidates will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming and organised environment. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- Provide clear directions and information about event programmes or facilities
- Manage guest flow to ensure smooth entry and exit procedures
- Monitor the venue to uphold safety standards and address any guest concerns promptly
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as required
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour at all times
- Collaborate with management and other team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Requirements
- Previous experience in management, hospitality, or guest services is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with strong customer service orientation
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or specialised event times as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with the role
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about venue operations and safety procedures
Pay: £12.71 per hour
