Full-Time or Part-Time (23 to 39 hours per week)
We welcome applications from candidates seeking either full-time or part-time hours. We can offer working patterns between 23 and 39 hours per week, with specific arrangements agreed during the recruitment process to meet both business and individual needs.
Overall Job Purpose
To operate and set CNC machinery to manufacture component parts to the required specifications, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC machinery in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and production requirements.
- Loading, unloading and handling raw materials and finished components safely.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, work instructions and production documentation.
- Selecting and installing the correct tooling, fixtures and machine settings.
- Monitoring machine operations to ensure compliance with quality standards and dimensional tolerances.
- Conducting routine quality inspections using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges.
- Identifying and reporting machine faults, tooling issues or quality concerns.
- Making minor machine adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
- Completing production records and quality documentation accurately.
- Carrying out routine machine maintenance and housekeeping activities.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality and productivity.
- Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas.
