We have a strong reputation for quality workmanship and are looking for an experienced subcontract carpenter to join our team on a long-term basis.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable, skilled and professional self-employed carpenter who can carry out a wide range of carpentry and general building work on domestic projects.
This is a long-term subcontract opportunity with consistent work across Warwickshire and the surrounding areas.
The Work Includes
- First and second fix carpentry.
- Installing structural steelwork (RSJs).
- Knocking through walls and carrying out structural alterations.
- Roofing and timber structural work where required.
- General building work associated with extensions and renovations.
- Working from drawings and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Working in occupied domestic properties while providing excellent customer service.
Essential Requirements
- Self-employed with the ability to invoice for work.
- Proven experience as a carpenter with strong all-round building knowledge.
- Confident installing steelwork and carrying out structural alterations.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport.
- Own tools.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to travel to different domestic projects each day.
- CSCS card preferred.
