In order to help us run our HP Indigo & Fujifilm Revoria production presses, we are looking for an additional digital press operator to join our team.
Reporting to our lead operator, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining perfect quality of our output through good maintenance and an aptitude for troubleshooting, monitoring the production process, ensuring safety standards are met, and making adjustments to the machinery as needed. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and have excellent communication skills along with an eye for detail and an appreciation for their equipment. Experience in digital printing is an advantage, we are looking for a candidate with an excellent attitude towards learning, with training on the presses provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping up to speed with daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks.
- Preparing substrates and calibrating papers to ensure perfect running.
- Assist with troubleshooting and identifying issues with the press.
- Tracking and ordering spare parts and consumables.
- Keeping good dialogue with our lead operator and FSEs effectively communicating observations and issues.
- Taking pride in running a clean, well maintained press.
Qualifications
- HP Indigo Operator Certification (preferred)
- Previous experience in digital press operation and maintenance
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors
Where and when will you work?:
We’re based along Kirkstall Road in Leeds and this role to be on-premises. We operate 5 days a week Monday to Friday, and this role requires a compressed hours 4-day week and the role is full time. This role also requires a flexible work pattern to meet our press operating hours of 7am to 7pm, with one 7am start and one 7pm finish each week.
Example working week:
- Mon: 8am – 6pm
- Tues: 7am – 5pm
- Weds: Day off
- Thurs: 9am – 7pm
- Fri: 8am – 6pm
The designated day-off each week will be on a rota with the rest of the team.
