Opportunity to work term time only, or all year round!
Are you passionate about outdoor learning and inspiring children through nature? We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Forest School Lead to deliver engaging, child-led outdoor learning experiences for our nursery children at Walton Firs Activity Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors and wants to make a real difference in children's early years development through exploration, creativity and adventure.

About the Role
As our Forest School Lead, you will:
- Plan and deliver inspiring Forest School sessions that encourage curiosity, confidence and a love of nature.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive outdoor learning environment.
- Promote children's physical, emotional and social development through outdoor experiences.
- Transport children safely to and from Walton Firs Activity Centre using the nursery minibus.
- Work closely with the nursery team to ensure enriching learning experiences that complement the Early Years Foundation Stage.
If you choose a full-time position, during school holidays you will also:
- Support exciting children's outings and trips.
- Provide additional support within the nursery to meet staffing requirements and maintain high-quality care.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience delivering Forest School or outdoor education programmes.
- Holds (or is working towards) a recognised Forest School qualification (desirable).
- Has a genuine passion for outdoor learning and early years education.
- Is confident, organised and able to work independently.
- Holds a full, valid UK driving licence and is comfortable driving a nursery minibus (essential).
- Has excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
