What you will be doing:

As a Doctoral College Coordinator, you will be based in the directorate of Research Innovation and Business Engagement, responsible for coordinating administrative processes associated with doctoral students, from enrolment through to graduation.

You will be a skilled administrator with excellent organisational skills and a desire to deliver an exceptional student experience.

You will be required to interpret and work to a range of established procedures and regulations. You will also be expected to support the continued development and improvement of administrative processes.

Because Postgraduate Research Administration is an involved role, this ensures a varied and stimulating workload that requires an organised and proactive individual.

You will be working alongside a small team of professional administrators and will have supervisory responsibilities.

Experience using IT packages to a high standard is essential.
Essential qualifications/experience:
-
Level 3 qualification or HND qualification or equivalent qualification or experience

Experience of working in an administrative role
-
Experience of supervising or coordinating staff
-
Experience of using a variety of IT packages to a high standard
-
Experience of efficiently servicing meetings
-
Ability to understand, interpret, disseminate and work to a range of established procedures
-
Ability to maintain, analyse and present information and data
-
Ability to prepare reports and deal with a wide range of correspondence and prepare and present appropriate responses

Accuracy and attention to detail
-
Ability to prioritise and coordinate own workload, managing own time and working to set deadlines
