Job Summary
We are seeking a Chef/Bar Staff to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, crafting refreshing beverages, and ensuring an exceptional service for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Mix and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, with professionalism and flair
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and bar areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly, attentive service that enhances their overall experience
- Manage multiple tasks such as taking orders, processing payments using POS systems, and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively, energetic atmosphere that encourages customer engagement
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality settings, particularly in food preparation or bartending roles
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing inventory
- Effective time management to handle busy service periods smoothly
- Restaurant experience is highly preferred to ensure familiarity with fast-paced environments
- Ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude
