AHS Landscaping Supplies is looking for an ambitious Telesales Account Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys managing existing accounts while proactively developing new business opportunities.
The Role
As a Telesales Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 200 customer accounts, strengthening existing relationships, and identifying opportunities to increase sales. You'll also play a key role in generating new business through proactive prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of around 200 existing customer accounts.
- Build strong, long-term relationships by providing outstanding customer service and tailored solutions.
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting, cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to maximise account growth.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of our landscaping and building supplies to confidently advise customers.
- Maintain regular contact with customers via telephone, email, and online communication.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service and smooth order fulfilment.
About You
You'll be a confident and motivated sales professional who enjoys speaking with customers and achieving results.
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in telesales, internal sales, account management, or B2B sales.
- A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- The confidence to generate new business through cold calling and lead generation.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven approach.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts effectively.
- Good IT skills and confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport due to our office location.
