Shop Assistant – Male Staff Required
We are looking for a friendly, hardworking and reliable male member of staff to join our team.
Main duties include:
- Restocking and stacking shelves
- Checking product dates and rotating stock
- Keeping shelves and the shop clean and tidy
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Greeting customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Receiving and unloading deliveries from the cash & carry van
- Carrying stock from the delivery into the shop and placing it onto the appropriate shelves
- Keeping the shop organised, clean and presentable throughout the day
- Helping with general shop duties as required
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a friendly and positive attitude
- Have good customer service skills
- Be hardworking, reliable and punctual
- Be physically fit and comfortable with lifting and unloading deliveries
- Be able to work well as part of a team
- Have good attention to detail, especially when checking dates and stock
- Be willing to help with all aspects of running the shop
Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential. We are looking for someone with a good work ethic, a friendly personality and a willingness to learn.
Pay: £400.00-£550.00 per week
