We supply some of the very finest Dining Establishments across the country and due to expansion and the increasing growth of the company we are looking to appoint enthusiastic people to join our team.
We are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our Butchery . This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in working within a dynamic environment, contributing to health and safety compliance, and supporting overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitation of designated areas following company protocols
- Full Factory Wash Down at the end of the day using the Power Washer System and Chemicals to thoroughly wash, clean and sanitise the whole food production facility to ensure a safe, hygienic, well maintained business
- Support the setup and dismantling of equipment for operational needs
- Assist with the organisation and disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental standards
- Ensure all hygiene procedures are adhered to, maintaining a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Requirements
- Basic understanding of construction or maintenance work is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience using hand tools and power washer is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physically fit, able to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role is beneficial but not essential
Excellent remuneration for the right candidate.
Location is Kirkby Malzeard so must have their own transport.
