A unique and exciting opportunity to join Cranstoun’s Wakefield Domestic Abuse Support Service to deliver our specialist domestic abuse interventions in Wakefield. Cranstoun’s will provide a range of interventions to Victim/survivors, perpetrators and children and young people affected by domestic abuse.
We are looking for a Senior Violence Prevention Practitioner (VPP) to lead and support the delivery of domestic abuse perpetrator interventions across Wakefield.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine direct practice, team leadership and multi-agency partnership working to support meaningful behaviour change and improve safety for victims, survivors and children.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operational delivery of the VPP service and provide line management to practitioners within the VPP team.
- Deliver specialist interventions that promote accountability and lasting behaviour change.
- Work collaboratively with agencies such as IDART, Wakefield DASS, MARAC and MATAC to manage risk and improve outcomes.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on domestic abuse, safeguarding and perpetrator interventions.
We’re looking for someone with experience in domestic abuse, safeguarding, public protection or multi-agency working, who is confident managing risk, building partnerships and supporting professional practice.
The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check against relevant barred lists.
