Love busy shifts, great coffee, classic cocktails and being the person who keeps everything running?
We’re looking for an experienced Hospitality Supervisor to join the team at Cabinet Rooms. If you’re happiest when the café is buzzing, can keep your cool when every table is full, and enjoy bringing out the best in the people around you, we’d love to hear from you.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be standing back giving instructions. You’ll be right in the middle of the action – leading the team, chatting with customers, solving problems before they become problems, and making sure every shift runs like clockwork.
We’re after someone who’s confident, organised and genuinely enjoys hospitality. You’ll already have experience in a busy café, restaurant or bar, so you’ll know how to juggle multiple priorities while keeping the atmosphere relaxed, friendly and fun.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading weekend shifts and helping the team deliver brilliant service from start to finish.
- Opening and closing the venue and making sure everything is ready for service.
- Keeping the floor running smoothly, even when things get busy.
- Welcoming customers, creating a great atmosphere and making everyone feel at home.
- Handling bookings, walk-ins, group reservations and small private events.
- Supporting, motivating and coaching the front of house team.
- Dealing confidently with customer queries and resolving issues with a smile.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety.
You’ll fit right in if you…
- Have supervisory experience in a busy café, restaurant or bar.
- Stay calm under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- Love working with people and know how to get the best from a team.
- Have brilliant customer service and communication skills.
- Can think on your feet and make good decisions.
- Take pride in delivering consistently great hospitality.
- Have barista or cocktail experience (a bonus, but not essential).
Why join Cabinet Rooms?
We’re an independent café-bar with a great reputation, amazing regulars and a genuinely supportive team. No two weekends are ever the same, and we’re always looking for people who bring positive energy, fresh ideas and a great attitude.
If you love hospitality, enjoy working with good people and want to be part of an independent business where your contribution really matters, we’d love to meet you.
