The Role
As a self‑employed driver, you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of hire equipment to and from customer sites, ensuring a high standard of service at all times.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering and collecting hire equipment safely and on time
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Carrying out basic Trailer checks
- Setting up of refrigerated trailer when on-site training will be provided (hook up, secure locking, test fridge unit is working)
- Providing excellent customer service on site
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Representing the company in a professional manner
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of local routes and UK roads
- Ability to handle physical work (loading/unloading equipment)
- Reliable, punctual, and self‑motivated
