Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food and beverage service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar staff, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to company standards.
- Lead team management efforts by training, mentoring, and motivating staff to achieve performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all areas of the bar and kitchen operations.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and oversee inventory control to prevent shortages or wastage.
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Assist in organising special events or promotions to enhance the venue’s reputation.
Qualifications
- Supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment, ideally in a bar or similar setting.
- Experience in team management with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving procedures and hospitality standards.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Barista experience is advantageous but not essential .
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and organisational skills.
