.Support Workers – Days and Nights
Location: Whitby
Pay: £12.90ph
We are currently looking to grow our dedicated team of Support Workers to work at our amazing location Caedmon House based in Whitby
Caedmon House was previously a hotel in Whitby. It is a large townhouse that is surrounded by local attractions. It has been carefully refurbished to offer specialist accommodation in a 3 bedded flat attached to a 4 bedded house and then also a basement flat, with leisure and activity facilities included.
At Caedmon, we believe every individual is unique – and the support we provide reflects that. We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable Support Worker to join our dedicated team and make a real difference in people’s lives.
About the Role
You will be supporting adults with a wide range of needs, including:
- Autism
- Learning disabilities and/or difficulties
- Emotionally unstable personality disorder
- Personality disorders
- Physical disabilities
- Epilepsy
- Schizophrenia
Each person we support has their own goals, preferences, and care requirements. Your role will involve delivering person-centred support, adapting your approach quickly and effectively to meet individual needs while maintaining kindness, patience, and understanding.
No prior experience is needed, as we will give you all the tools you’ll need to excel in this role. All you need to bring is a hardworking, compassionate nature and a positive can-do attitude.
