Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of comfort and hygiene for all visitors. Previous hotel experience and a background in hospitality or janitorial services are advantageous. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or assistance
- Follow health and safety procedures consistently to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organised manner
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and holidays if necessary
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
- A proactive approach to guest satisfaction and cleanliness standards
Pay: £12.71-£12.72 per hour
