Overview
We are seeking fun, passionate and dedicated summer holiday club teachers to join our high energy Street Kidz Holiday Clubs team during the school holiday periods. We are looking for expert teachers of Dance, Drama, Singing, Arts & Crafts, and Sports. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children age 4 to 12, including those with special educational needs or disabilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on children's summer experiences while developing your teaching and childcare skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and socialisation during the summer holiday programme
- Supervise children in various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support children with special educational needs or disabilities, adapting activities as necessary to meet individual requirements
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation and confidence among all children
- Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and behaviour
- Assist with organising daily routines, including meal times, outdoor play, and rest periods
- Ensure the programme complies with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies
Skills
- Proven ability and to work effectively with children across different age groups from age 4 to 12
- Experience of teaching children, and children with disabilities
- Strong teaching skills and classroom management with the ability to plan engaging activities that cater to diverse needs
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, creativity, and a caring attitude are essential qualities for success in this role
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and individual needs within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications are desirable but not essential, and we can support you with some of these where needed: Teaching qualifications, Safeguarding qualification, First Aid certificate, Enhanced DBS, Check Food Hygiene certificate.
Pay: £125.00 per day
