This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and skilled Sales Representative to join a thriving, long standing garden trade business with a great trade reputation and outstanding range.
You would be selling beautifully designed products that cover many categories within garden centres, gift shops, housewares and hardware stores.
Inheriting a sales area with an established customer base, your brief is to open more stockists, selling through the range and working with customers to increase sell-through.
Candidate profile: Area Sales Manager:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative with a track record of success selling to independent retailers – ideally garden centres, gift shops, homewares retailers or department stores. You need to know how to persuade a retailer to stock a new line and how to increase sell-through by providing training, product selection and merchandising support. Other qualities are:
· A passionate, charismatic and persuasive character
· Numerate, articulate, fun and trustworthy.
· High energy with fantastic communication skills
· Highly organised and able to work with a broad product range across numerous categories.
· Good computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook, Teamse
