Thanks to our exciting growth plans, we are looking to add a dynamic and organised Events Managers to our operations team who can specialise in corporate team building both at our home site and across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving group of events professionals. Working closely with both the sales department and the AV team, you will be tasked with accurately executing the client’s brief and will be the main point of contact for the client on the day of their event. You will be organised, punctual and thorough by nature, and you will use these traits to ensure deadlines and timings are met.
Your naturally outgoing personality will enable you to build rapport with both the client and your colleagues in both the sales and operations departments. You will be comfortable speaking to the public at each event and ensuring the client is supported throughout.
The successful candidates will also be required to help us develop and expand our extensive range of events and activities. You will be creative and confident in generating new ideas that are engaging and effective. Helping to execute the highest quality events possible for our clients and supporting the overall growth of Eventurous.
You will enjoy working under pressure in an industry that never stands still and you will love delivering successful projects, on time – every time! Excellent communication skills are a pre-requisite as is the ability to develop effective working relationships with a wide range of customers, both internal and external.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being the main point of contact on the day for client
- Motivating and directing the freelance team on a variety on team building events indoor and outdoor
- Addressing the clients as a group to introduce the days event.
- Ensure health and safety adhered to
- Preparation of equipment and loading unloading
- Ensuring deadlines/timings met
- Set up and pack down of event equipment at our home site and across the UK
- Setting up basic Audio Visual equipment
- Develop new events/activities
- Review and enhance existing activities
- Act as compare / host as required
- Travel to and from venues across the UK

A background of working in corporate events management would be desirable, while experience working with AV equipment would also be advantageous.
