Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload materials using forklifts and manual handling techniques
- Assist with the movement and storage of goods within the yard, ensuring proper placement and organisation
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and mechanical tools to ensure safety and functionality
- Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing items for dispatch or receipt
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the yard area to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklifts with valid certification preferred
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong materials handling skills with attention to safety protocols
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards teamwork
