We are looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking Front of House / Bar & Waiting Staff to join our team at Caribbean Classic.
The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service while assisting with restaurant service, bar service, takeaway and delivery orders. You must be confident dealing with customers, able to work as part of a team and remain organised during busy periods.
Main Duties:
- Welcoming and greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Seating customers and providing menus.
- Taking food and drink orders accurately.
- Serving food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Preparing cocktails, spirits, soft drinks and other beverages where trained.
- Using the till and card machine and processing cash/card payments correctly.
- Collecting prepared food orders from the kitchen.
- Checking takeaway and delivery orders carefully to ensure all items are included.
- Packing and wrapping takeaway and delivery food securely and correctly.
- Taking clear photographs of completed delivery orders as proof of preparation/collection where required for delivery platforms.
- Labelling and organising delivery orders.
- Handing orders to the correct delivery drivers and confirming collections where required.
- Communicating with kitchen staff regarding customer and delivery orders.
- Serving tables and checking that customers are happy with their food and drinks.
- Clearing and cleaning tables promptly.
- Washing and polishing glasses and keeping the bar area organised.
- Restocking drinks, fridges, condiments and other front-of-house supplies.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy restaurant and bar throughout the shift.
- Carrying out regular toilet checks and cleaning duties as required.
- Completing opening and closing duties.
- Following daily cleaning schedules.
- Following food hygiene, allergen, health and safety and alcohol-service procedures.
- Checking customer identification and age where required when serving alcohol.
- Assisting with busy takeaway, delivery and restaurant service periods.
- Working cooperatively with kitchen, bar and other front-of-house team members.
- Attending required staff meetings and training.
What We Are Looking For:

- Able to follow instructions and workplace procedures.
- Good attention to detail, particularly when checking customer and delivery orders.
- Previous restaurant, bar or hospitality experience is preferred but training can be provided to the right candidate.
- Must be willing to help across different front-of-house duties rather than working in only one area.
This is a varied front-of-house role covering waiting, bar service, customer service, takeaway and delivery order preparation, cleaning and general restaurant duties. Applicants should be flexible, work well as part of a team and be comfortable assisting across all areas of front-of-house when required.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
