Owen Payne are currently recruiting for an experienced Wood Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team based in Birmingham, B18. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous wood assembly experience who are looking for a long-term role within an established company.
Key Duties:
- Assembly of wooden doors to specification
- Bench work in a production environment
- Using a variety of hand and power tools
- Wood assembly and fitting of components
- Manual handling of materials and finished products
- Heavy lifting and physically demanding work
- Ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in wood assembly or joinery/carpentry
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy work
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
