Adults Learning Disability Support Worker

We’re looking for experienced Adults Learning Disability Support Workers to support adults (18+) with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to help people live with greater independence, confidence and quality of life—while working flexible shifts that fit around you.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing person-centred, therapeutic support to adults with learning disabilities and autism
- Supporting individuals with daily living tasks at home and in the community
- Promoting independence through personalised care plans and positive encouragement
- Observing, monitoring and accurately recording wellbeing and any changes in presentation
- Working closely with a multi-professional team to deliver consistent, high-quality care
- Treating every person with dignity, compassion and honesty at all times
Requirements
Essential
- Minimum 6 months’ UK experience in a social care setting
- Empathetic, caring and resilient approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong commitment to positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities
