About Our Client
Meet the Little Girl You'll Be Supporting
We're looking for kind, enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting an incredible 6-year-old girl with mild cerebral palsy and complex needs.
She is bright, funny, determined, and full of personality. She absolutely loves being out and about, exploring new places, meeting people, swimming, playing, and enjoying everything childhood has to offer. She's fully ambulant, endlessly curious, and thrives on encouragement, laughter, and adventure.
While she is able to walk independently, there are times when she requires the use of her wheelchair to support her mobility, particularly during longer outings or busy days. To help her access the community safely and comfortably, you'll need to be confident driving the family's wheelchair-accessible van, ensuring she can travel with ease and continue enjoying all the activities she loves.
Every day with her is different - and every achievement, no matter how big or small, is celebrated.
What Your Role Will Look Like
You'll provide dedicated 1:1 support at home and, when needed, work alongside another Support Worker as part of a 2:1 team to help her embrace every opportunity life has to offer.
Together you'll:
-
Support her with fun, engaging home therapy programmes
-
Cheer her on at swimming lessons and extracurricular activities
-
Explore parks, playgrounds, cafés, and exciting community adventures
-
Encourage friendships, play, and confidence in social settings
-
Help her develop independence while keeping her safe and supported
-
Work closely with her wonderful family and wider multidisciplinary team to help her reach her full potential
No two days are ever the same - and that's exactly what makes this role so rewarding.
A Truly Wonderful Family
She lives with her loving parents and three siblings in a warm, welcoming family home filled with laughter, encouragement, and teamwork.
Her family are incredibly supportive, approachable, and passionate advocates for their daughter. They value the people who support her and are looking for someone who will become a trusted, valued part of their extended care family.
You'll never feel like "just a Support Worker" - you'll be someone who helps create happy memories, celebrates milestones, and makes a lasting difference.
Hours Available
Typical shifts include:
Monday – Friday
2:30pm – 8:30pm
Saturday
10:00am – 2:00pm
During school holidays, additional hours are available:
Monday – Friday

We're looking for someone who can offer flexibility as activities, therapies and family plans can sometimes change.
Opportunities for Adventure
This role could even take you beyond everyday life.
There may be opportunities to accompany the family on:
-
UK holidays and short breaks
-
European adventures
-
International holidays
If you love travel and helping children experience the world around them, this could be an incredibly rewarding part of the role.
We're Looking for Someone Who...
You don't need to be perfect - you simply need to care.
We're looking for someone who is:
-
Warm, kind and genuinely compassionate
-
Fun, energetic and happy to keep up with an active little girl
-
Patient, encouraging and positive
-
Reliable, flexible and professional
-
Passionate about helping children thrive
-
Confident supporting children in the community
-
A brilliant communicator who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
-
Committed to promoting independence while always putting safety first
Experience supporting children or individuals with disabilities is desirable, but it isn't essential. If you have the right values and a genuine desire to make a difference, we'll provide all the specialist training and ongoing support you need to succeed.
Essential Requirements
-
Full UK driving licence preferred
-
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
-
Right to work in the UK
