Job description
We are looking for an assistant merchandiser who can assist with running accounts and eventually take care of their own account.
It is predominately an administrative role, you will be following up on approvals, fit comments, lab dips in order to help ensure the factory maintains HO lead times.
Occasionally you may be asked to help problem solve and handle any QC issues that may arise and spec check garments that may run the risk of RTV’d
- You will regularly update sales and forecasting report and all central spreadsheets and share with the team.
- take part in teams meeting to discuss critical path/progress reports for orders.
- liaise with both UK and overseas suppliers and work closely to ensure speedy and timely delivery of our purchase orders and focusing on clear communication of customer order specifications.
- ensure all product ranges are maintained and systems are promptly updated for any associated date changes.
- also deal with Supply ad hoc analysis and any ad hoc queries as they arise.
You will need to have good ability in using Microsoft Excel, creating presentations on PowerPoint, creating tables for organisation and working with percentages
Speed, dedication, communication and organisation skills are a must.
You will be first POC for your assigned customers, dealing with style developments, negotiating sales, ensure critical paths are running smoothly and on time by keeping track of customer journey
The position is for PT to start off with and leading to FT as the candidate grows into the role. For someone who is seeking to commit, dedicate and grow with the company.
Experience required :
- MUST have minimum 1 year experience within apparel merchandising
