Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pot Wash to join our busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment by washing dishes, cookware, and utensils efficiently. This role is vital to ensuring smooth kitchen operations and supporting our culinary team in delivering excellent service. Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is essential, as training. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Washing pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
- Ensuring all dishes are cleaned to high hygiene standards in accordance with health & safety regulations
- Maintaining cleanliness of the dishwashing area and storage spaces
- Organising used items for efficient washing and storage
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods by managing dishware flow
- Adhering to all safety procedures and hygiene standards at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is desirable.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience in serving or working within a culinary setting can be beneficial
