Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating flatbed lorries to deliver roof trusses and timber products efficiently across designated routes throughout the UK.
This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills, with an emphasis on commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 flatbed lorry for the transportation of goods to various locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with schedules and company policies.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
- Secure loads properly on the flatbed to prevent movement during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary, adhering to health and safety standards.
Experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of safe driving practices and road regulations pertaining to Class 2 vehicles.
- Experience in handling flatbed lorries, including securing loads safely.
- Valid UK driving licence with a Class 2 (Category C) endorsement.
- Familiarity with routes and navigation within the local area is advantageous.
- Ability to operate vehicles in various weather conditions and adapt to different delivery environments.
