City Cycle London is an innovative cycling hub and official Shimano Service Centre in the heart of Covent Garden. We combine secure urban transport infrastructure with a high-end, fast-paced mechanical workshop.
We are expanding our team and seeking an exceptional Bicycle Mechanic to work directly alongside our Workshop Manager. You will be hands-on with everything from high-end carbon road bikes and premium commuters to specialised e-bikes.

We hold our workshop to the highest commercial standards. To maintain our level of service, this is not an entry-level or trainee role.
To be invited for an interview and workshop trial, you must possess:
- 4+ Years Minimum of continuous experience in a professional commercial bicycle workshop (handling customer repairs, commercial turnarounds, and diagnostics).
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Repairs & Servicing: Diagnose complex mechanical/electrical issues, replace components, and rebuild bikes to peak performance.
- Tuning & Precision Building: Assemble high-end bicycles from the ground up to strict manufacturer specifications.
- Safety & Quality Control: Conduct comprehensive safety checks and sign off on all work leaving the workshop.
- Customer & Team Collaboration: Assist the Workshop Manager with customer handovers, job scoping, and clear technical communication.
You’re a Great Fit If You Have:
- A deep, proven background in a busy retail workshop environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and pride in clean, precise work.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first, problem-solving mindset.
- Cytech Level 2/3 certification (highly desirable, though equivalent hands-on workshop experience is accepted).
