We are looking for an enthusiastic Cooks Assistant to join our team at Rottingdean Nursing Home. We are a friendly family-run home in the heart of Rottingdean with a CQC standard of Good.
We prepare and cook homemade nutritional food for our 32 residents and staff.
The main duties of the role are to support the cook with all kitchen duties, to prepare cakes and desserts, assist with food preparation and cooking of meals.
You will be required to ensure health and safety and environmental standards are achieved and maintained.
Some experience of working in a nursing home environment would be an advantage.
Hours required: Monday - Friday 6.30 am - 2.00 pm.
Pay is competitive and subject to experience and qualification.
